Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney is an American-Lebanese barrister, human rights campaigner and philanthropist. She was born Amal Ramzi Amuddin. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law in addition to New York University School of Law is recognized internationally for her work and accomplishments within the field of the international law of human rights. Some of her clients are Armenia, a nation Armenia who is battling the Turkish government for the acceptance and apology for the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got married to American actor George Clooney and became a well-known name in pop culture in 2014. Years before this though she was already well-known and loved by legal professionals as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients with skill and great success. Her work spans the spectrum of social justice, human rights to representing multinational companies during the negotiation process or litigating cases involving federal regulations.
